LebNet Houston: A New Community Takes Shape
On November 5, LebNet hosted a preview gathering ahead of its Houston community’s official launch, bringing together Lebanese professionals, leaders, and innovators for an afternoon of connection and conversation at Microsoft’s office at The Ion. The event featured a roundtable discussion with Hussein Shel, Oil & Gas Energy Market Lead and Director at Google, exploring opportunities at the intersection of energy and technology and inviting participants to exchange ideas and perspectives.
The gathering drew a wonderful turnout and overwhelmingly positive feedback. Attendees welcomed the opportunity to connect, exchange technical insights, and engage with Houston’s Lebanese professional community. Organizers echoed that enthusiasm, sharing, “This was a great start. Can’t wait to grow this community with you all!” and “I am glad we are doing this together.” Attendees described the gathering as refreshing and were already looking forward to reconnecting at the next event.
